Carhops Needed...

The ministries of Teen Outbreak and Reformers Unanimous will be hosting a Sonic Drive-thru fundraiser this Saturday at the Sonic on Valley Parkway and Main Street in Lewisville. We are still in need of volunteers that would be willing to become carhops for the day. Don't worry... No skating skills required!!!

If you are not able to participate in carhopping please come by and see us from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to get a cold refreshing Dr. Pepper and help to support the mission work to the addicted of our community and the Dominican Republic.

Was It Me?

On the way to work this morning that gut-wrenching feeling gripped my soul as I turned the corner on the freeway to see the patrolman hanging out of his car with his radar gun pointed directly at me! The feeling only got worse as I passed him (in what seemed to be slow motion) he was stowing his radar equipment for the pending ticket. Quickly my mind ran through the checklist: was I speeding? Am I speeding? Seat belt? Here he comes! The kids! Car seats? Just as he got right behind me and my heart began to sink further he rips over into the right lane behind someone else... Lights come on... And off the hook to speed another day.

Immediately my spirit was taken by His Spirit to Proverbs 28:1 "The wicked flee when no man pursueth, and the righteous are bold as a lion." the point is this, God sees everything and I need to do a better job living in that realization! How about you?

For Life Prison Ministry...

"For Life", the newest ministry of Temple Baptist Church of Flower Mound, Tx is set to kick off this Sunday afternoon as Derek "DZ" Zimmerman, and myself (Richard Wallace, Jr.) have been provided the opportunity to preach to the incarcerated youth of Gainesville State School. Derek will be preaching to the first group of boys, numbering somewhere around 75, and I will bat "clean-up" with the second group. Derek has chosen "Faith" as his sermon topic, and I will be sharing my testimony message, "Hello, My Name Was... Prodigal".

This will begin a multi-pronged ministry advancement at the school. We are going to be providing mentors, tutors, Bible study teachers, and courses on addiction to these boys that Christ loves.

On February 26, 2007, the day after I came back to Christ, Jack Patterson (founder of Reclamation Ranch) told me over the phone, "Junior, you better reach the homeless, the addicted, and the imprisoned because that is who you were and where you would have been without your daddy." He was right, and since that day I have pushed myself to minister to these people groups, and my has God ever provided the opportunities to do so.

If you would have an interest in touching the hearts and lives of boys ages 12-18 through this new and exciting ministry please e-mail me at ruman.wallace@gmail.com.

Greater Vision Concert on Thursday, June 18...

Greater Vision, a southern Gospel trio, will be providing a marvelous fund-raising concert for our Reformers Unanimous ministry. The cost per adult ticket is $10, and kids ages 5-11 are $5. These guys will uplift you with their ministry in song and testimony. Greater Vision has been in the Christian music arena for a long time and we are blessed to have this wonderful opportunity!

Our R.U. chapter is currently supporting the full-time care of two men at the Residential School of Discipleship in Rockford, Ill. We are also looking to begin a women's full-time housing facility here in the Flower Mound area. We are also in need of monies for advanced advertising and marketing plans that I have been working on.

Please come out and support this "Miracle Ministry", and be blessed by the music as well! I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!!
