So, yesterday's reading was from I Samuel. In the fifth chapter we read of the Ark of God being carried into Dagon's (the Philistine's god) temple.

Of course, the Philistine's capture of the Ark was as a result of the Hebrew's fear, and disobedience concerning the Ark...

Nonetheless, the Philistines have it. Place it in with their god, and the presence of Jehovah knocks Dagon over, and their god breaks. The same would happen to your idols if you'd allow Jehovah access to your heart!
